Yoga Socks

A friend once claimed to be the biggest supplier of socks. I wonder if his products include yoga socks. Such a commodity is hard to find and very expensive as well. There are very good brands in the US and Eu but I suspect that its manufacture is outsourced in countries like China and the Philippines. I hope that I will be able to find the source and buy direct.

Business Travel Note

While about to leave for an overseas destination to look for a bulk supplier of the best flexible metal hose, I can’t help but notice that the check in counters of my favorite airline is being staffed by an outsourcing company. I then remembered that the same service was being handled in house a couple of months ago. The end of such practice was marked by a work stoppage in the middle of a strong typhoon.

Important Body Decor

This Christmas, I probably should buy some of my employees a Momentum M1 Watch as a gift. Watches are always nice to give and people always appreciate them. They may have their favorite watches but for sure they would be happy to have a new one.

Watches do not only tell the time. It also serves as a good decoration for the human body. It serves as a useful tool for everyday living but it also reinforces the vanity in people.

Reverting Back?

I've just read an article claiming that outsourcing may have lowered the infrastructure and operations costs of call centers. It was also very costly because it resulted to lower customer satisfaction and eventual loss of clients for a lot of companies. 

While to some extent, the statement is true. I would say that this is only because of the rapid expansion of call center outsourcing. Companies were in too much of a hurry to outsource that they failed to take the needed safety measures. Prior to the rapid expansion, client feedback were all excellent. 

Reverting back to the old model is not the proper way to go. It will only result to higher costs and less competitiveness of companies.

Mark my words. 

Tools Of Our Time

My daughter likes youtube stuff but isn’t online all the time. I therefore suggested to her that she installs free youtube downloader so that she canal the time enjoy the non licensed materials that she like. Youtube, together with Twitter and Facebook now rules the present world. It has provided entertainment as well as lifesaving messages to a lot of people all over the world. I wonder what will tomorrow’s trends will be. It seems that those companies are doing everything to stay very relevant til the next centuries.
