My Personal Insurance

It’s January again and like the previous year, I have to choose the best for my employees. I am also reminded to choose the better life insurance quote and finally, get myself a new policy. I had two policies for a few years and I thought, I had a good deal. That was until I needed some cash and found out that I was not entitled to a cent unless I die.

Outsourced/ Offshored Consutants

Another good outsourcing business idea is that of an online business plan consultant. People can create online profiles and post their comprehensive list of skills and experiences and apply as consultants to businesses offshore. Online technology has made data transfer and remote television a reality and people need not be physically present to appreciate realities in the field. Pretty much like the predator drone, they can direct surgical strikes from several boundaries away.

Gettting A Degree While Working

Most outsourcing companies don’t give much attention to college degrees when hiring employees. Most attention is given to people’s ability to perform tasks and since most outsourcing firms are call centers, the biggest requirement is for people who communicate well. Call center employees who are lacking in college degrees still has high hopes of earning a bachelor degree online. A reputable institution called the Western Governors University was created to provide education especially to those who are at work and lacks the time to be physically present in a conventional classroom. Is the school reputable? It definitely is. Western Governors is an Online University founded by 19 United States governors, entirely online, uses the competency-based model and is a nonprofit institution. There's is no hanky-panky in there.

Read The Label

It seems that the demand for the best sleeping pill is overwhelming. It seems that for a lot of people, natural remedies like chamomile tea or milk before bedtime are simply not enough. I wonder if meditation and yoga prior to taking tea or milk will do the trick. Anyways, I hope that people taking sleeping medications will read the labels carefully and do not overdose.

A life worth emulating

Just now, I read a bit about Richard Willich, a gentleman who joined the US marine corps and was decorated in Vietnam. He stayed in various capacities as a reserve officer in the armed forces, eventually making it to colonel and retiring in 1990. Come 1992, he had started a couple of firms that is now worth about 200M US$. Whoa! The guy is a philanthropist, as well. What a way to live a life! It is a very meaningful one!

Company Outing

Early today, I visited www.carolinadesigns.com to look for the most appropriate venue for my company’s annual holiday outing. The rates, as expected, are still low. This is probably due to the fact the economy is perceived to still be down and the demand for real estate is still low. Crisis or not, I fully intend to give my employees a good company outing to thank them for a job well done.

Special Trackers

Preparing for today’s blog post, I chanced upon an article about mesothelioma and its victims. I was made aware by the article that people affected by such an illness are in need of specialized help and that there are not that many facilities that can help them fully. I guess it would be good for the government to outsource the tracking down of possible victims to special investigators so that the ill can be found fast and treated immediately.

My Mobile Home

With the renewal of my employees’ insurance, my attention and my wallet is now directed towards my rv insurance policy which is almost due for renewal. My RV is quite valuable for aside from the equipment itself, there are a lot of valuable gadgets and materials that are stored in it. My late model HD TV is in it. My new memory bed is also fitted in it. I even think it is trendier and more expensive than my own bedroom.

Credit Turn On

I got a pleasant surprise after the renewal of my auto insurance. The Insurance company, it turned out, also owns a huge credit card firm. With my good track record as an “assured” of the insurance business, the bank deemed me credit worthy to be issued a credit card. They sent me a plastic that only required my signature prior to usage. Though I do not need it, I felt good knowing that institutions think I can be trusted.

Back to Work

Now that the holidays are over and the New Year has started, it is time to get back to my treadmill. Just before the holidays, I was on strict diet and exercising had become a part of my daily schedule. The yuletide season however, changed all that and I am now back to what I was, a few months ago – very very overweight!
