Ugly Dolls?

The girls in our call center are quite excited. After work, they plan to browse a site and order from an ugly doll sale that somebody had tipped them. I don’t know much about these so called ugly dolls. But conventional wisdom dictates that if it’s something that young women are going gaga with, it should be worth asking my wife to check. After all, we have a daughter who will probably like it.

The sayings that I subscribe to include:

"Be truly be thankful for what you have"

I find this very true for some people's complaints are other people's gem. My complaint about bad cafeteria food is quite shameful for millions of hungry people would gladly trade places with me.

When people had nothing waiting for them after school, they gladly embraced the coming of outsourcing facilities into the country. And now, just about a decade after, some militants are complaining that BPO's will not lead to career growth for the employees.

Why can't the militants just provide better employment for those young lasses?

Pneumatic Drills

I was getting irritated with my core bits because it keeps on breaking. A friend then told me to try the coilhose pneumatics type of core drills because it will last longer. With the new system, uneven hand pressure is eliminated for it is the pneumatic that applies even pressure into the core bit therefore greatly minimizing breakages. I think I’ll try that one. With core bit prices being quite high, I need to look for new ways of cutting holes in hard surface.

Government Outsources

In Queensland, some court documents will soon be outsourced to the private sector as a result of budget cuts. Why can't the Philippines do the same. Its bureaucracy is bloated and a lot of employees are observed to be doing almost nothing. I believe that it's good to strictly implement freeze hiring programs and retire the old employees. With a lean workforce left it should simply start outsourcing non critical tasks and stop the bleeding of the tax payers.

Renovations!

In renovating my house, I need basement floor options in order to optimize our use and enjoyment not only of that portion but also the entire house. A lot of people use their basements solely for storage but I think, we can use a part of it in another way, my son, for instance, can build his own audio room in the basement and that will insulate the rest of the house from his loud music.

Remembering A Global Corporation

Mcdonalds is famous for creating a huge fastfood chain where the quality of food is constant for all branches. This means all meals taste the same from one branch to another. This was said to have been done by setting up a factory like process wherein production is done in stages with a set of people manning a stage. This also eliminated the need for highly skilled cooks and made production cheaper and more efficient.
