Cafetaria Talk in Call Centers

In outsourcing companies, you’ll also get to hear of women all the time in the office cafeteria. With lots of them employed in these firms, the word progesterone is mentioned more than a few days a day. For those who are enterprising enough, selling health plans designed for women is probably a good idea. The secret to being able to sell huge amounts is in the ability to properly explain the benefits associated with such health plans.

Non Monetary Benefits in BPO Firms

One of the best things to come to every man’s bedroom is the memory foam mattress. The feeling and relaxation that one derives from its usage is priceless! And with today’s current trend of outsourcing companies doing a lot of things to keep employees from moving, memory foam mattresses in the employees lounge to keep them refreshed after power naps is something to die for. I’m looking forward to the day when I myself is able to buy one for my people.

Data Security in Outsourcing

Secrecy is something that is given high value in every outsourcing firm. Client data which is abundant in such facilities are so closely guarded that a hidden spy camerais something seriously considered everywhere. As for me, if employers are now allowed to monitor outgoing emails, secret cameras should also be approved provided that it does not cover areas that are deemed private such as the bathrooms. How to prevent people from using the rest rooms to smuggle important data should be a subject of a different approach- not a camera.

HR Initiatives in BPO

One of the regular topics of young people involves natural acne treatment. And with so many youngsters involved in the outsourcing industry, it is unavoidable that this topic can be overheard in the company cafeterias and the nearby starbucks outlets. One of the things that I can probably advice managers of the big BPO facilities is to invite dermatologists to talk about this issue from time to time. If it will be helpful to the employees, it should also be good for the company.

Computer Parts Now Easily Accessible

Not many people are aware that a lot of pc companies are outsourcing most aspects of design and manufacture of their products and perhaps, a lot of them do not even see any part of their product during manufacture. For instance, the laptop memory may have been manufactured by a specialty firm in China that sells basically the same product to everybody else. However, I am confident that the best brands are keeping at least the design phase in house and outsource only to the best contract manufacturers.

Pacquiao vs Diaz

Just an intermission.

For boxing fans the Pacquiao-Diaz bout will be on June 28, 2008. This will be good for one of the best pound for pound fighter in the world will be climbing one category in pursuit of his 5th championship belt.

Outsourcing What?

It used to be that people had stacks of heavy albums by their coffee tables for house guests to browse. Today, digital frame have almost rendered those expensive photo albums almost obsolete. In addition, technology and mass production capacity of competent factories have made it possible to outsource the mass production of these products at low cost making distribution quite easy since consumers now find these lovely gadgets very affordable.

The Benefits of IT Outsourcing

One of the most important portions of most company’s investment, whether it’s an SME or a giant firm, is in Information and Technology (IT). The seamless flow of business information from and towards the clients is very important in making sure that a company’s products and services are communicated properly and served when needed.

Unfortunately, setting up and maintaining an IT infrastructure can be very expensive. One major reason that can be attributed to the high cost is the shortage of qualified IT specialists in the market today. With the ever increasing demand and attractive salary packages being offered, it was reported that the number of people taking up IT courses in major universities are even decreasing.

With the wide disparity between demand and supply, maintaining an in-house IT department entails very heavy overhead. But since IT services can easily be obtained from distant lands through the internet, IT outsourcing has become very attractive. In countries where talent is abundant and cost of living is very low, it makes sense for people from countries with high cost to outsource IT services. All the details and specifications may be communicated online and the end product be delivered through the same medium.

In this world where boundaries have been taken down by the internet, IT outsourcing makes so much sense and makes this world an even better place. Supply gets to meet demand and prices become optimal.

Sales outsourcing is catching on

So why would you look outside your organisation or hire someone part-time?

External perspectives on your business are valued, and introducing tried and tested methodologies can work for most business types, after all where would "management consultancy" be if this wasn't true. However, there are a number of additional reasons why using an external sales consultant or "interim" makes sense:

Online Remedies

My life as an outsourcing consultant keeps me on the road for most of the week. Moving from one facility to another is the name of my game and if the gas companies give road mileage points to auto owners, I probably will be in the list of its elite customers. Anyway, I have just realized that my annual car insurance is about to expire and I urgently need to get an auto insurance quote. It’s good that they internet is here and I can easily get a lot of it instantly. :D

Supplements for an Outsourcing Consultant

To complement my active routine, I have decided to look for some natural supplements. I don’t want to change my food habits and therefore needs to look for safe meds and one likely candidate is Leptovox. Its website claims that it is made of natural ingredients and that should be good. However, a doctor’s advice should always be taken prior to taking any medication and implementation of any change in lifestyle. That, I will do this weekend.

Getting Physical

Having decided to get back into shape, I took out my treadmill, stair climber from its storage compartments and started using it again. The first week was a bit like hell but now, things must be getting better for I am even dreaming of buying strength equipment bit by bit. I don’t really like to get back into muscular shape. A bit of strength will be good enough.
