What the toy companies do is specify their quality specs and have factories in countries where wages and other factors of production are cheaper and have the products done there. This results to lower priced items that can now be enjoyed even by those who do not have as much budget as the parents of rich kids.

Outsourcing unproductive, noncore and expensive processes is like stomach fat loss. Companies are more often than not, forced to pay high salaries and hire a lot of workers in order to handle something that is nonprofit generating. In an Asian bank, for instance, its huge reimbursable processing department is costing a lot of money that eventually, a decision was made to outsource that group to an offshore branch. In the end, the bank spends a fraction of what it used to in a simple and noncore process called processing of employee reimbursements.

My growing appetite

A friend of mine had to take appetite suppressants in order to control her weight gain. It seemed to her that the more she tried to eat less, the appeal of food increases. I believe that we are in the same situation, work stress has made my appetite for good food go up several notches and I seem to be gaining weight faster than I am losing it. Jazz Up Your Workplace

To jazz up my call center facility, I made some changes to the main dining area and installed pendant lights, among others. We also installed variants of it in the snack bars and together with interior decorators, made the entire working area look like a cool place to be in. The intention of the redesign is to make the mostly young employees feel like they are holding office in the coolest hang out venue in town. I hope that our move will work.
