Driving Pointers

A serious discussion at the office cafeteria today was whether motorhome towing is just as tough as speedboat towing. My take on the matter, as I shared with my colleagues, is that weight is the most basic consideration whenever one measures the degree of towing difficulty. But how difficult or how light the load being towed may be, one should always drive with extreme caution. For one, the length of the vehicle automatically increases. The maneuvering difficulty also goes up by several notches.

Especially when going uphill or downhill, one should always engage the low gears and drive slowly. Curves should be dealt with slowly and deliberately and one should make sure that the breaks are ion excellent condition.
