Bloggers have become a big contributor to the revenue of the outsourcing industry. They write news reports, press releases on behalf of entities involved in controversies (check out andolini's article), advertisements and SEO work for websites (e.g. Luigi's advertisement) and many other things on behalf of private and commercial entities.
At present, there is an issue whether bloggers can now put up a labor union recognize them as legitimate businesses or employees and be entitled to benefits. In our opinion, they may do so provided that they declare their income to their respective tax bureaus and pay the that will officiallynecessary taxes and membership contributions that will entitle them to the appropriate retirement and social security benefits.
