My friend in the US is looking for a place with the best selection of nurse uniforms. Until he asked that question, I didn’t know that are actually a number of designs of nurses uniforms. I thought that there’s only one. Anyway, a lot of companies in China and India exports this things to various countries and I think there are companies in the Philippines that also does that.

Death of Outsourcing?

An article at Forbes.com says that offshoring will be on a greater decline in 2013 as favorite outsourcing destinations like India and China are faced with rising costs and unable to sustain the impact of gas and shipping expenses. I believe that there some truth to such a prediction but it will mainly be because of the decline of the value of the US dollar versus the Yuan, Rupee and other currencies. I think that all is not lost since the outsourcing destinations can still do something about it. Let's wait and see.

Outsourcing human resources is an idea that is not very farfetched for me. Professional head hunters with intimate knowledge of a client’s operation should be able to do a good job of searching, screening and hiring new employees. On top of that, it should be able to do the regular functions of a human resources department for any company. Therefore, hiring and firing is something that an independent human resources company can do as an outsourced work.
