A Period of Relaxation

As an outsourcing specialist, I am exposed to various stresses resulting from my irregular sleeping and working schedule as well as the difficulty of coordinating people located in faraway places. Of course, this is close to being seamless, operationally speaking. But as a salesman trying to close deals, I also need to be awake not only during our working hours but also during the clients’ waking moments.

Such stressful environment made me go through my first rv camping, as soon as my workstations have been filled to capacity. The sound of flowing water gave me a zen like peace that recharged me and made me raring to get back to work, right after the trip.

Boy, are they Cool!!!

I have noticed during office breaks that a number of our employees are buzzing around for Naot shoes. I wonder what makes it tick so I visited the company website. With people being into trendy footwear nowadays, the company successfully created variants of their popular lines. The result, of course, s overwhelming success and I hope, the same thing happens to all those who buy their products. As the saying goes, “Success begets success”!

Not so long ago

My days as an active worker on the BPO floor made me seriously consider taking diet pills. The irregular work hours, unusual meal times whenever I was on the night shift and the free flowing juice drinks, complicated my long hours working while seated. My weight grew very rapidly and my belly expanded uncontrollably. It’s a good thing that I was able to recover before things became too late. Exercise and discipline made it very good for me.

Moving Houses

The stabilizing of the outsourcing industry has put on hold a lot of people’s plan to shift careers and change addresses. Otherwise it would have been a more hectic season for cross country moving companies. It is a good thing for hundreds of thousands of BPO employees in Manila and a lot more in Mumbai. Let’s hope that the recovery of the outsourcing industry continues and the other sectors of the economy follow.

Outsourcing Industry Expands Despite Slowdown

Now that the outsourcing industry is in better shape, its employees are now in better position to participate in online auctions, as buyers and not as people offering their precious belongings to the highest bidder. Just this week, I read in the papers that the expansion of the outsourcing industry is continuous despite the crisis. That’s precisely what I wrote in this site, a few months ago. I predicted that some companies will probably cut back on outsourcing as a result of slower business but there will also be those who will be forced o outsource in order to maintain the cost effectively of their firms.

Crisis Force Outsourcing Industry to Become Lean

The Philippine outsourcing industry had the best slim pills imaginable – crisis! Because clients does not have enough money to sustain the same level of operations, outsourcing companies had to cut down more fat to be able to project a leaner image to their clients. Hopefully, these companies will be able to maintain their figures. If they do, they will be more attractive than ever when the clients are able to shrug their economic influenzas.
