Looking at the website of a Chicago accident attorney, I am reminded of the hundreds of thousands of employees of outsourcing companies. With their sheer numbers alone, it is not farfetched that accidents will befall some of them and end up in court. It is therefore imperative that BPO firms be in touch with reliable lawyers that will take care of their employees should something happen.

BPO's and Employment
Today’s call centers and business process outsourcing centers are greatly contributing to the employment rate of India, the Philippines and several other outsourcing destinations. Of course, it will not look so good for the countries that outsourced goods and services but in the long run, it will be good. Having outsourced the a lot of tasks, companies are left with more time to devote to their core businesses. They will therefore end up hiring higher valued employees and produce better products.

A bit on Leadership
The job descriptions of all employees should be properly spelled out and constantly be reminded to everybody. Failure to do that should be a cause for termination of team leaders, supervisors and any position going to the top. At the Dane County, the head of its Public Safety Communications Center took the responsibility and resigned because of an operator’s gross negligence and insensitivity to people. A call got disconnected and the operator never returned call and investigate. Later on, it was found out that the caller was being attacked at approximately the same time that the call was made. The caller died and the attacker is unidentified as of this time.
What happened is very ironic. People in need are the very reason why the existence of these public hotlines and having employees that are very insensitive to calls is simply not understandable.

Dell to Sell PC its Factories?
Slashdot.org has just reported that Dell is planning to sell its factories. Critics may ask, “What are they going to do now? Diversify and produce moth traps?” The answer, however, is quite far from that. Dell wants to outsource its manufacturing process in order to decrease costs further. While their factories are producing PC’s at low cost, they must have figured out that outsourcing it would result to substantial savings.

Outsourcing Medical Equipments Manufacturing
If you are wondering what a pulse oximeter is, do not feel bad. I also had no idea until I looked it up, just now. According to what I read, the device is a non invasive way of monitoring blood oxygen levels. So what? Well, judging from the search engine results, it seems that the research and manufacturing phases of these product is a good outsourcing area to look into. The product is popular in the west but it seems that outsourcing it is a good idea.
Hardware Days
If I am still in my old hardware job, I am sure to bag a few of these outsourcing structures that will be needing Delta faucets. Undoubtedly, still one of the reliable brands, Delta’s problem in the outsourcing destinations like India and the Philippines is its price. Delta faucet is a lot more expensive than some of the Chinese brands. The thing with Delta though, is its commitment to quality. I hope they still have it now. I say that because they are offshoring production now.
Outsourcing Cafe
One company that is benefiting from the outsourcing boom is the Starbucks coffee company. Call centers hire thousands of young employees, precisely the market of these coffee giants. It is not uncommon these days to see new building being built and be leased entirely by call centers and other outsourcing firms. Of course, where there are lots of people, food companies are also present. And one of the most prominent establishments in places like such is… Starbucks!
