In the event that employees fail to report a tardiness or signal a “Home and Safe” code, company officers should take it upon themselves to retrace the employee’s possible routes in order to locate them. That may be taking it a bit too far but an ounce of prevention is much better than a pound of bad publicity and legal cases, in the event that an employee becomes victimized by street criminals.
